Junior iOS developer (paid 3-6 month internship)


location: dartford, kent

In order to meet our growth and work on an exciting new product we're developing, we have an opportunity for a iOS developer to join our team as a paid intern for 3-6 months.

This is an ideal opportunity for a keen iOS developer that's maybe published a couple of basic, small self-built apps and wants to get their first exposure to being a developer in a commercial setting

You will be working mainly on the front end and UI of our iOS app however there may be requirements to perform server side occasionally.

Working closely with the product manager, you will be required to work from wireframes and product specifications and come up with your own technical requirements.

As we are a growing company you will be exposed to many aspects of the development cycle.

As this is an internship we don't expect the successful candidate to have all of the following skills and experience, we can teach you what you lack, but experience of iOS and using Xcode is essential.



  •   Must have a good demonstrable knowledge of Objective-C and Swift, 1+ year's experience.
  •   Git Version control.
  •   Cocoapods.
  •   You should be familliar with xcode and other apple developement tools.
  •   Be comfortable in writing unit tests in both Objective-C and Swift.
  •   Understand and appriciate Apple's memory management models.
  •   Knowledge on HTML / CSS and Javascript is advantegous.
  •   Basic knowledge on AWS Mobile Hub (Cognito / Dynamo DB)
  •   Basic knowledge on MySQL
  •   Must have a university degree in relevant discipline or be of graduate claibre

Salary and Benefits

Successful candidate will be paid £1,000 per month, this role may become permanent for the right candidate
